Special Interest Group for
Immigrant Engineers

Who we are

The Special Interest Group for Immigrant Engineers (SIGIE) evolved from an Engineering New Zealand initiative to provide training courses for immigrant engineers in New Zealand.

SIGIE will do its best to assist immigrant engineers in their search for the professional employment. We offer regular events to help you connect with like-minded engineers new to New Zealand, and much more.

Membership

SIGIE provides a strong network for immigrant engineers to meet new people and to share work opportunities. It provides professional development, employment and career counselling to support immigrant engineers to settle in to life and work in New Zealand.

SIGIE currently has over 1000 members worldwide and offers great benefits such as full day workshops, regular webinars and great connections with other like-minded immigrants.
